VC Refugee Solidarity will be dedicating the week of April 10-21 to raise awareness on campus about the challenges refugees faced in the past and today. The week will include speakers, poets, panels, workshops, and performances from campus groups. A week-long exhibit in the Old Bookstore anchors the week and will feature student research projects on past and current refugee crises conducted by the History Majors Committee, and students from a multidisciplinary six-week course on the Global Refugee Crisis. Refugee Solidarity hopes to open up an informed dialogue across campus about what more our college can do to address today’s unprecedented global refugee crisis.
