Opening new channels to deliver
humanitarian aid.

As the Syrian civil war continues into its seventh year, more than 13.5 million people in Syria are in need of humanitarian assistance.

To respond to the crisis, MFA has facilitated groundbreaking partnerships between Syrian NGOs and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that to date, have delivered more than $87 million of relief supplies into hard-to-reach areas of southern Syria.

Following two years of back channel efforts by MFA, Syrian NGOs and others are now shipping humanitarian aid through Israeli ports, from where the IDF facilitates the transport of the relief supplies to the Golan Heights for ultimate delivery to those in need inside Syria.

These supplies, including food, clothing, medicines, medical supplies and equipment – and even four ambulances – have been distributed to an area with a population of nearly 1.5 million people.

In addition, MFA has worked in cooperation with the Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) through which we have raised more than $2 million. These funds have been distributed to carefully-vetted organizations delivering direct aid ranging from food and sanitary packages to first aid training and medical equipment, to more than 85,000 refugees.

Changing minds through
shared values.

Overcoming years of enmity and suspicion, former adversaries are now working together in the name of humanitarian relief — creating a model for future cooperation in the region.

This unprecedented collaboration of Christians, Jews, Muslims, and others in the United States, Israel and Syria, clearly demonstrates the shared values of all faiths.

Out of great need has come a great opportunity.

Help plant the seeds for
future stability.

The tremendous success of these new groundbreaking partnerships has generated momentum to sustain the flow of shipments and continue delivering life-saving aid.

MFA's efforts and the relationships created with a range of relief agencies have also opened opportunities for the delivery of aid to other locations in Syria, as well as to Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon.

MFA relies on private funding from individuals, grassroots organizations, and faith-based groups. Your contribution will help MFA's efforts to deliver desperately-needed relief, and plant the seeds for future stability in the region.

Donate today, and help those in need.
